The Backyard Hotel is located on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica in Playa Hermosa, 4 kms south of Jaco Beach. The master suites have one king size bed, two twin size beds (bunk style) and one private bedroom with queen size bed. With 180° private ocean and pool front balcony.

Our sunset happy hour has become one of the most popular destinations to watch the sunset over the beautiful blue pacific. With world class surf just 50 mts.from your table you will surely enjoy the show. Ice cold pilsen for $1 with a "boca". Frozen drink specials $5. $1 miguelito shots. Great Food Great Service

Breakfast is served from 8a.m. til 11a.m daily. Free continental breakfast for hotel guests. Theres nothing like a quite breakfast on our oceanfront terrace. Lunch and dinner plates are served from 11a.m. til 10 p.m. Great salads, burgers,sandwiches, wraps, burritos,ceviche and of course or world famous wings will keep you satasified for lunch or try our fresh seafood delivered daily. Tuna, mahi-mahi,lobster, jumbo shrimp, whole red snapper,or ceviche. U.A.D.A new york strip, filet mignon, pastas,or our local dish "casados" arroz con pollo, arroz con camerones. Saturday Surf Series 4PM

The Backyard Surf Series is an event held every Staurday at 4 pm. It is an open surf contest in "expression session" format. No entry fee and $300 cash prize. In the water you will see some most progressive surfing in latin america from members of the Costa Rican national team. Everyone is welcome to come and compete. 5 pm we start with a varity of great bands from all over the country. Dont forget our beachfront b.b.q. the best ribs on the planet!

Ladies Night in the Backyard
