Bull Riding and Running
It is tradition in Costa Rica for most villages to at least host one bull fight a year. Bull fighting is not killing the bull like in Spain, but rather Rodeo and running from the bull. A very entertaining event and a great way to experience the Costa Rican culture and food.
Simply ask any local where you are where and when there is another bull fight close by. Most villages especially in Guanacaste (North west Pacific) host several bull riding fiestas a year. Fiestas almost always accompany bull fights.
