La Fortuna Waterfall
The famous La Fortuna waterfall is an amazing experience that one must see to believe.
The La Fortuna Waterfall is just another gem among Costa Rica's natural wonders. Located about 6 kilometers out of the town center, this waterfall is a sight to behold. Fed by the Tenorio River, it winds through dense, tropical rain forest in the Arenal Mountain range until it is forced to plunge 70-meters into a small pool at its base. Visitors can hike along the trail from the bottom to the top, and for an exhilarating experience swim in the pool beneath the falls.
