The Guanacaste province in northwestern Costa Rica has long been considered the gem of Costa Rica by the rest of the country. Playa Potrero
Playa Potrero - Santa Cruz - Guanacaste - Costa Rica This beach is situated just north of Flamingo. The South side of Potrero bay is called Surfside and the beach ends at the mountain tongue to the north that seperates Playa Potrero from Playa Penca. This is home to more relaxed swimming conditions and an array of beach front accommodations, private beach residences and lots of terrain to go horseback riding.
