Playa Naranjo

La Cruz, Guanacaste, Santa Rosa National Park. This Park is the largest Dry forest Protected Area in Costa Rica. The rock reaching out of the sea as seen in the picture is called "Roca Bruja" (Witch's Rock) which made this area famous for its first class surfing. Just North along the coast Ollie's Point as well attracts Surfers from around the world.

Things to see

This beach is secluded inside the Santa Rosa National Park. Besides the world famous surfing here (mostly known from the Surfing movie classsic "Endless Summer II" - Witch's Rock/Roca Bruja) there is a lot of Wildlife to be seen in Costa Rica's largest Protected Dry Forest Area. for more information about this National Park - click here
