Playa Conchal & Brasilito

Playa Conchal is among the most popular beaches of Costa Rica which has got a lot of international attention and is a perfect example of being in the heart of the Guanacaste's "Gold Coast". Playa Conchal is named after the sand made up of fine grinded shells (conchas). This is home to one of the Countries most extravagant hotels.  The 300+ room Paradisus Resort is truly one of Costa Rica's top resorts.  It also hosts one of Central America's largest pools. The golfing enthusiast has also an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. to enjoy at this amazing location.  Making it the perfect location when traveling with little kids. As all of the Costa Rican coastline is public property (at least the first 50 meters to the high tide line) and one can access it from the south via Matapalo and and from the north via Playa Brasilito.  A land tongue reaching into the sea seperates Playa Brasilito from Playa Conchal and its a short but steep climb and a four-wheel vehicle is recommended.
