Moravia
Previously home to a large portion of the country's coffee farms, it is now famed for arts and crafts.
The loss of the coffee farms and the relocation of the "coffee industry" did not leave Moravia rotting away. In fact, Moravia is now best known for the crafts such as wood items, leather, pottery etc... This town is popular to tourists for unique souveniers. If you have hiked Volcan Brava and spent time wandering around Heredia, but still have some time in the area, stop in and do some shopping in Moravia.
