Lankester Botanical Gardens

Flower and botanical lovers should make sure this is on the itinerary when in the area of Cartago. This area is famous for its orchid collections and its plethora of local plants. With just over 26 acres of interesting greenery, it attracts bees, birds, and butterflies to enrich the scenery. The garden is also a major research center for the University of Costa Rica.
