The Jazz Café Costa Rica is one of the most popular venues in the San Jose province for jazz, blues, and R&B music.
The Jazz Café Costa Rica plays a very important role in the music scene of Escazu and the surrounding province of San Jose. Originally opened in 1999, the Jazz Café wanted to be a small venue that offered jazz, blues, R&B, and Latin American folk music. It also opened its doors to local underground music genres, and as a result always has a variety of shows booked. This Café also features numerous Costa Rican national art exhibits.
